Executive Mosaic is honored to introduce Horacio Rozanski, chief executive officer of Booz Allen Hamilton, as the newest inductee into the Wash100 — a group of influential leaders in the government contracting arena.
Rozanski, who previously served as the firm’s president and chief operating officer, assumed the role of CEO in January after the retirement of Ralph Shrader, who led Booz Allen as chief executive 15 years.
In July 2014, he outlined Booz Allen’s “Vision 2020” strategy to help the company adapt to the current budget environment in an interview with the Washington Post.
Vision 2020 focuses on work to build the firm’s business beyond consulting, facilitate innovation, expand to other markets beyond the federal government and establish industry partnerships, Rozanski told the Post.
“We began reducing our cost base when we realized our clients would have to do more with less … We have become much more agile and flexible in our approach to everything,” he said.
Rozanski is a 23-year veteran of Booz Allen and was part of the team that handled the 2008 separation of the company’s government and commercial businesses.
Executive Mosaic congratulates Horacio Rozanski and the Booz Allen team for their selection to receive this award.
