Jack-LondonExecutive Mosaic is honored to unveil Jack London, CACI International executive chairman and formerly its chief executive for 23 years until 2007, as the newest inductee into the Wash100, the premier group of leaders who drive growth and innovation at the intersection of the public and private sectors.

Widely regarded as the “face” of CACI, London led the company through its transformation from being a professional services consulting firm to a global provider of information technology and communications offerings.

London also started the company’s mergers and acquisitions program in 1992, with more than 55 transactions taking place since then as the company sought growth in managed networks, information assurance, security and intelligence services markets.CACI logo_Ebiz

In recognition of his iconic status, London joined other GovCon leaders such as former Lockheed Martin CEO Norm Augustine and SAIC founder Robert Beyster in the Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards Hall of Fame in 2012.

A former Navy and Navy Reserve officer, London was honored in February 2013 for his work in national security with the Reserve Officer Association’s Nathan Hale Award, who fought in the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War and led an intelligence-gathering mission in New York City.

“In my military and professional careers, I have endeavored to be ever vigilant in serving my country and the fine employees of CACI who are trusted partners in national security,” he told our sister n747914275_922581_4027site ExecutiveBiz.

He retired from the military in 1983 after a 24-year career that concluded with service as a reserve captain, then became president and CEO of CACI in 1984.

London’s four-decade career at CACI also includes roles of program manager, vice president and division president.
