One area of Johnson’s focus areas is cloud computing and the company introduced its Oracle Government Cloud in September 2013 as it looks to help agencies “confidently move mission-critical government applications to the cloud without compromising security, performance, or reliability,” Johnson said.

Oracl Government Cloud was released with available Software-as-a-Service and Infrastructure-as-a-Service offerings and Platform-as-a-Service on the way.

“Governments today face tough challenges as they are tasked with reducing costs while at the same time providing citizens with services and information more quickly and efficiently than ever before,” Johnson said.

“We are committed to helping agencies enhance operational efficiency through the cloud.”

Executive Mosaic extends its congratulations to Mark and the rest of the Oracle organization.
