Steve Schooner

Executive Mosaic is honored to introduce Steve Schooner, co-director of the government procurement law program at the George Washington University Law School, as the newest inductee into the Wash100 — a group of influential leaders in the government contracting arena.

Schooner is also a professor of government procurement law at the university under the Nash-Cibinic endowed professorship program.

He previously worked as senior associate dean for academic affairs at GWU Law School and associate administrator for procurement law and legislation at the Office of Federal Procurement Policy.

Schooner has also practiced law under the Justice Department‘s commercial litigation branch and served as commissioner of the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals and an adjunct professor in fiscal and contract law at the Judge Advocate General’s School.

The certified professional contracts manager is also National Contract Management Association fellow, a board member of the nonprofit Procurement Round Table and a faculty adviser to the Public Contract Law Journal of the American Bar Association.

Executive Mosaic congratulates Steve Schooner and the GWU Law School team for their selection to receive this award.
