Kapoor_kay_wash100_2016Executive Mosaic is honored to introduce Kay Kapoor, president of AT&T‘s government solutions business, as the newest inductee into the 2016 edition of the Wash100 — Executive Mosaic’s annual selection of influential leaders in the government contracting arena. Kapoor is receiving this award for the third consecutive year.

Kapoor is in charge of a 4,000-person unit within the global telecommunications giant that provides information technology and professional services to federal government agencies.

In February 2015, she said that the company will work to deliver mobile technology services to the government as agencies turn to mobility, cloud, analytics and collaboration tools to support their missions.

“In this new mobile, virtual and global world, our technology services and capabilities have never been more relevant or vital to help our federal government have a profoundly positive impact,” she wrote for company blog.

Upon the release of a CompTIA-backed report in February, Kapoor singled out cloud, mobility and other technologies as tools that could drive efficiency and innovation in government and play a role in government transformation and technology convergence.

AT&T also started to offer its NetBond cloud networking service in December 2015 to help federal agencies access Amazon Web Services‘ GovCloud (US) platform.

Executive Mosaic congratulates Kay Kapoor and the AT&T team for their selection to receive this award.
