Casper Malig has been appointed vice president for large deals in Europe at DXC Technology. The executive announced the move in a LinkedIn post on Friday.

Malig brings years of experience in global business leadership to his new role. He will lead efforts to execute large transactions and bring innovation and value back to the company’s large enterprise and government clients.

“With a strong focus on our large transactions in Europe, I look forward to working with our teams, ensuring that DXC continues to bring new innovative solutions and services to our clients that drive new levels of performance, competitiveness, and customer experience across their IT estates,” he wrote in his post.

Malig spent over 12 years at T-Systems International, holding several leadership positions, including senior vice president and managing director of regional sales, and most recently as its chief operating officer. He also worked at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and CSC.

Before joining the commercial sector, Malig served as head of section at the Danish Ministry of the Interior for three years. He holds a master’s degree in national economics from the University of Southern Denmark.

The new appointment follows DXC’s continuing regional expansion, including its June launch of the Aerospace and Defense Hub in Farnborough, U.K.
