What Is the WitFoo, SSS Cybersecurity Partnership About?

WitFoo said Monday it signed an original equipment manufacturer deal with SSS after relocating its global growth base to Christchurch. The partnership aims to enhance cyber defense in New Zealand, where cybercrime costs are estimated at $1.6 billion annually, by embedding WitFoo’s Conductor platform directly into SSS’s managed security services rather than offering it as an add-on.

“New Zealand offers a unique environment where innovation is not just encouraged, but accelerated by community cohesion,” said Charles Herring, co-founder and CEO of WitFoo. “Our partnership with SSS goes far beyond a transaction; it is a collaboration with a local leader that understands the nuances of this market. By building our technology directly into their services, SSS is proving that New Zealand is ready to lead the world in sustainable, high-fidelity cyber defense.”

How Will WitFoo’s Conductor Platform Be Used?

The Conductor platform will support the next generation of SSS’s security operations center, incorporating WitFoo’s Empathetic Processing technology. This proprietary approach is designed to cut computing and storage requirements by more than 95 percent while maintaining full signal accuracy.

“WitFoo’s Conductor platform is an important part of how we are rethinking automation and scale within our SOC. The OEM relationship gives us the flexibility to embed orchestration deeply into our managed services, align it to local market requirements, and continue investing in differentiated outcomes for our clients rather than standalone tooling,” said Luke Taylor, CEO of SSS.
