Spectro Cloud is expanding its Middle East operations to support governments, cloud providers and enterprises seeking to bring AI infrastructure into production while addressing data sovereignty, operational control and infrastructure costs, the company said Tuesday.
At the center of the company’s offering is PaletteAI, a platform designed to manage AI infrastructure across sovereign clouds, enterprise data centers and edge environments.
Who Is Leading Spectro Cloud’s Middle East Expansion?
The company has appointed Tamer Riyal as sales director for the Middle East, adding an executive with more than two decades of experience in the region’s technology sector.
Riyal will lead regional sales, business development and partner strategy.
“The Middle East has bold ambitions for global AI leadership, from sovereign AI factories to AI-powered economies. We’re investing in the regional expertise and partnerships to support that vision for the long term, helping customers turn their plans into infrastructure they can operate with confidence,” said Riyal.
The expansion follows Spectro Cloud raising more than $100 million in a Series D funding round led by Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives.
The company has also established a dedicated office to serve the broader region.
What Partnerships Is Spectro Cloud Building in the Region?
The company has established strategic relationships with several Middle East technology providers, including FutureTEC, Phaza and VAD Technologies.
FutureTEC is serving as Spectro Cloud’s first managed services provider partner in the region. The companies are targeting government and enterprise customers that need private and sovereign AI environments.
Spectro Cloud has also signed a memorandum of understanding with Phaza, developer of Salam, an Arabic-first sovereign large language model designed for government, defense and critical infrastructure organizations across the region.
Dubai-based VAD Technologies has become Spectro Cloud’s first value-added distributor in the Middle East. The distributor will incorporate Spectro Cloud technology into its AI-ready infrastructure and cloud solutions portfolio.
