Australia’s Titomic has appointed Les Gregory as the vice president for business development in the United Kingdom with the launch of its U.K. subsidiary.
Gregory brings over four decades of experience in defense, technology and manufacturing to the metal additive manufacturing company. Prior to his appointment, he held leadership roles at several organizations, including BAE Systems and its predecessor companies.
In his new role, Gregory will oversee initiatives aimed at fostering business growth by engaging with the British government, civil sectors and the Ministry of Defence. Those efforts will align with the objectives of Titomic EU, whose mission is to equip the region with solutions that enable effective responses to geopolitical and industrial challenges.
Titomic UK Ltd will also serve as a hub for British organizations that need high-performance protective coatings, structural repairs and additive component manufacturing.
“The launch of Titomic UK Ltd and the appointment of Les Gregory are major steps forward in our global mission to redefine the boundaries of additive manufacturing,” said Jim Simpson, CEO and managing director at Titomic. “We are excited to bring our proven technologies and solutions to the U.K. to help partners solve problems more efficiently, sustainably and cost-effectively.”
