Fujitsu, NVIDIA Expand Partnership to Build Full-Stack AI Infrastructure

Fujitsu Nvidia agentic AI infrastructure

Japanese IT company Fujitsu has expanded its collaboration with NVIDIA to develop a full-stack artificial intelligence infrastructure that integrates AI agents to drive industrial transformation.

Under the newly announced partnership, the two companies will co-develop an AI computing infrastructure that connects Fujitsu’s Monaka CPU series with NVIDIA’s GPUs via NVLink Fusion technology. The initiative aims to deliver both hardware and software layers of AI systems, starting with applications in healthcare and manufacturing.

The effort also seeks to help Japanese industries deploy AI solutions more independently while enhancing their global competitiveness.

AI-Driven Business Transformation

“The partnership will accelerate AI-driven business transformation in enterprise and government sectors,” said Takahito Tokita, representative director and CEO of Fujitsu. “By combining the cutting-edge technologies of both companies, we will develop and provide full-stack AI infrastructure, starting with sectors such as manufacturing, where Japan is a global leader.”

The collaboration will focus on three areas: developing a self-evolving AI agent platform for industry applications, co-developing next-generation computing infrastructure, and building a partner ecosystem to encourage the use of AI agents and models.

Growing Demand for Advanced Computing

NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang said the alliance supports the growing demand for advanced computing. “Fujitsu is a true pioneer in computing and Japan’s trusted leader in supercomputing, quantum research and enterprise systems,” Huang noted. “Together, NVIDIA and Fujitsu are connecting and extending our ecosystems to forge a powerful partnership for the era of AI.”

Beyond AI, Fujitsu is also contributing to Japan’s broader national technology priorities, including its Cyber Research Consortium, which supports government initiatives to strengthen digital resilience and defense capabilities.
