Siddhartha Sant has been appointed as vice president of Rolls-Royce India‘s defense business, the executive shared in a LinkedIn post. In his new role, Sant will oversee Rolls-Royce’ business development and strategies in the defense sector in the country.
Sant joined the New Delhi-based power systems Rolls-Royce subsidiary in September 2022 as marine sales head, after which he led the company’s governmental business in India.
Before joining Rolls-Royce, Sant served as CEO of Advent Tech Projects.
30-Year Military Service
Sant is an Indian Navy veteran, with more than 33 years of service, most recently as deputy director general of the military branch. He noted on LinkedIn that his military experience provided experience in infrastructure management and acquisition projects, logistics, and supply chain management.
Sant holds a master of technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Shri G S Institute of Technology and Science.
