DXC Technology has inaugurated a new U.K. office in Farnborough that hosts the company’s Aerospace and Defense Hub. The start of operations, which the Ashburn, Virginia-based company announced Thursday, followed the April launch of DXC’s first office in Toronto.
The company said expansion plans are set for DXC offices in New York City, Miami and London. In September 2024, it opened a new center of excellence in Zaragoza, Spain, in addition to 12 other Spanish sites, including Madrid, Barcelona, Alicante and Girona.
DXC, which has been operating in the United Kingdom for over 40 years, will consolidate its employees from Aldershot and Hook in the Farnborough office. The new office is envisioned to open job opportunities for locals, including entry positions through the DXC UK&I Academic Programme.
Farnborough was chosen as the site for DXC’s Aerospace and Defense Hub because of its established resources in aviation, engineering and technology, which could be harnessed for investments and partnerships.
Cameron Art, DXC president of the Americas and UKI, called the Farnborough opening the start of “an exciting new chapter” for the company, its employees and customers in the United Kingdom. “Our new Aerospace and Defense Hub underscores our commitment to this sector and positions us to help shape the future of innovation for some of the world’s leading private and public sector aerospace and defense organizations,” the DXC executive said.
