L3Harris Technologies is set to deliver services in support of the Royal Moroccan Air Force’s C-130 upgrade initiative.
Under a recently awarded contract from Morocco, the contractor will deliver several tasks, including avionics modifications, engine overhaul, and program depot maintenance. The work will be carried out in Texas until 2029.
L3Harris offers a wide range of C-130 modification services. The vendor’s one-stop shop in Waco, Texas, specializes in complex aircraft conversions, modernization and missionization solution integration for U.S. and international clients. Its offerings include T-56 3.5 engine modification, corrosion control and prevention and radar integration.

Jason Lambert, president of L3Harris’ intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance unit, said the contract begins a long-term partnership with RMAF, ensuring its fleet is always combat-ready. “By leveraging our team’s proven avionics expertise, we will deliver scalable modifications to enhance C-130 performance and fleet longevity,” he said.
