ST Engineering Antycip, a European simulation and training solutions provider, is collaborating with the United Kingdom’s Ministry of Defence to deliver an artificial intelligence-powered virtual training environment. MASS, a defense and training support company, and Antycip sister company MAK Technologies will assist in developing the solution.

According to Antycip, the integration is expected to modernize military training by exposing warfighters to complex, adaptive combat scenarios. The company added that it showcases Europe’s growing trust in Antycip as a provider of simulation solutions for the defense sector.

Part of the agency’s Joint Command and Staff Trainer program, the initiative will see the integration of MASS’ operational and strategic command and control systems integration expertise and the MAK ONE suite platform into the MAK-developed and Antycip-supported VR-Forces system.

VR-Forces, a simulation platform that powers the JCAST initiative, offers a multi-threaded architecture, electronic warfare capability and complex task automation. With the platform, the MoD gains the ability to field rich virtual environments populated with intelligent autonomous agents designed for tactical to strategic training and experimentation.

“This new training capability represents more than a technological upgrade; it’s a step-change in how defense organizations prepare for uncertainty, complexity and joint-force operations,” said Colin Chester, a partner solutions architect at Antycip.
