Lockheed Martin‘s rotary and mission systems business unit has been awarded a $98 million U.S. Air Force contract to provide technological support to the Republic of Korea Air Force F-16 Block 52 training simulators program.
The Foreign Military Sales award requires the procurement, delivery and integration of hardware and software for the ROK Air Force’s F-16 mission training centers, the U.S. Department of Defense said Thursday. FMS funding of $91.4 million was obligated at the time of award.

Work Performance Details
The contracting activity is the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
Lockheed Martin’s work on the contract’s requirements will occur in Orlando, Florida, and Chungju and Seosan in South Korea through December 2031.
The company has been supporting Seoul’s defense and civil programs for over 30 years and has co-produced the F-16 with the Korean Aerospace Industries for more than 20 years. At the Paris Air Show in June, the two partners announced expanding their air systems collaboration to other areas, including training devices, sustainment and crewed-uncrewed teaming.
