Cloudera, a U.S.-based provider of hybrid data and artificial intelligence platforms, will establish a local presence in Saudi Arabia to support the kingdom’s Vision 2030 digital transformation strategy. The new entity, Cloudera Arabia, will launch in early 2026, giving customers across government and key industries direct access to the company’s expertise and technology.
“Saudi Arabia is investing heavily in building one of the most ambitious digital economies anywhere,” said Ahmad Issa, regional vice president at Cloudera. “Customers can rely on our hybrid platform to keep their data where it belongs, meet compliance requirements and still unlock the full benefits of AI at scale.”
The move comes as Saudi Arabia accelerates the adoption of AI solutions while enforcing strict data residency and compliance requirements. Cloudera’s platform allows workloads to run securely across sovereign cloud, GovCloud and air-gapped data centers, aligning with national priorities around data sovereignty and regulatory oversight.
