Parsons will collaborate with business accelerator Startup Wise Guys to advance construction technology innovation and growth of new businesses in Saudi Arabia, under a memorandum of understanding between the two companies. Parsons announced the MOU at the Construction Technology Festival in Riyadh Wednesday.
What Parsons Brings to the Partnership
According to Parsons, the partnership will open joint ecosystem development and pilot opportunities for its digital and artificial intelligence-driven tools on major projects across the Kingdom. The company also noted that the collaboration aligns with its long-standing role in Saudi Arabia’s infrastructure development and supports the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 National Transformation Program by promoting digital innovation and efficiency in construction.
The company said it will bring into the joint effort its global expertise in AI-powered design and workflow optimization. Startup Wise Guys, on the other hand, will support the collaboration as one of Parsons’ official proof-of-concept partners under the Future Built Assets Accelerator Program, launched in 2024, to promote the growth of Saudi construction technology startups. Sponsored by government agencies, the program provides Parsons’ access to a network of startups and innovators in the local market.
Martin Boson, Parsons’ senior vice president and general manager for Saudi Arabia, conveyed the company’s pride in supporting the startup ecosystem development in Saudi Arabia. “What sets Parsons apart is our ability to actively identify, pilot, and scale emerging technologies, including the seamless integration of AI, enabling unprecedented efficiencies into the way we manage our projects,” the company executive stressed.
