DTC Names Markus Frehse VP of Sales for UK, EMEA

DTC, a Codan company, has appointed Markus Frehse as vice president of sales for the United Kingdom, Europe and the Middle East and Africa.

How Will Markus Frehse Support DTC’s International Growth?

As vice president of sales, Frehse will be responsible for identifying and capturing strategic opportunities, supporting key customer programs, and developing relationships with defense organizations, system integrators and industry partners.

Based in Europe, he will lead DTC’s regional sales strategy, business development and customer engagement activities.

What Experience Does Frehse Bring to DTC?

Frehse brings nearly three decades of experience spanning the defense, security and government sectors. His career has included work across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and other international markets.

Most recently, he served as head of sales of the airborne and space optronics business at HENSOLDT. His responsibilities included building international sales teams and managing defense and security technology portfolios, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Frehse also brings direct operational experience from G4S Secure Solutions, where he served as chief operating officer in Iraq, overseeing operations and profit-and-loss responsibilities. Earlier, he worked as a contracts manager in Afghanistan, managing security programs and service delivery.

His military background includes service as an Army officer with both the UK Ministry of Defence and the Australian Defence Force.
