- Seekr has established its first European office in London’s Mayfair district
- The company plans to serve customers across the UK defense and regulated industries
- The expansion will be led by Naief Al-Shibli and David Church
Seekr has opened its first European office in London as it seeks to expand its sovereign AI business across the U.K. and Europe.
The new office, located in London’s Mayfair district, will support the company’s existing U.K. customers and help advance a growing pipeline of opportunities across the defense sector, FTSE-listed businesses and regulated industries, Seekr announced Thursday.
Who Will Lead Seekr’s UK Business?
Naief Al-Shibli has been appointed vice president and U.K. general manager. Previously with Palantir, Al-Shibli brings experience working with enterprise and government organizations in the U.K. and Europe. He will lead sales and oversee growth of Seekr’s U.K. business.
The company also appointed David Church as managing director to oversee its UK operations. Church brings experience advising on multibillion deals across European markets, including data center investments.
The London team will also include sovereign forward-deployed engineers who work directly within customer environments, with support from partners across Europe.
What Do Seekr Leaders Say About the London Expansion?
Seekr President Rob Clark said the London office reflects the company’s commitment to U.K. customers as demand for sovereign AI solutions grows.
“Customers across the U.K. are already putting AI to work across their core operations, and having dedicated experts sitting side-by-side ensures they are getting the latest sovereign AI they need, all under their control and local laws,” Clark added.
Naief Al-Shibli emphasized the importance of data control, reliable AI outputs and compliance with local security requirements, adding, “Having our leadership and engineers here means customers work with a team that understands their regulators and security requirements, and can deploy AI inside their own environment from day one.”
Seekr has pursued opportunities to expand its AI footprint in Europe. In November 2025, the company announced a partnership with Fossefall to support the development of AI factories in Europe. Rob Clark said the agreement positions the companies to address growing demand for accurate, explainable and sovereign enterprise AI in Europe.
