CyberArk has earned Cloud Service Provider certification from the Dubai Electronic Security Center, allowing the Israeli identity security firm to deliver its cloud-based solutions to the emirate’s government and semi-government entities.
The CSP standard forms part of Dubai’s ongoing effort to strengthen the security of its digital ecosystem, drawing on international benchmarks such as ISO/IEC 27001.
Secure, interoperable IT for coalition space operations will be among the panel discussions at the Potomac Officers Club’s 2025 GovCon International Summit on Oct. 16. Reserve your seat today.
Cybersecurity and Data Protection
CyberArk said meeting this rigorous requirement means it can now offer its software-as-a-service identity security portfolio to public sector organizations while ensuring compliance with local cybersecurity and data protection regulations.
The certification covers several of CyberArk’s cloud-based products, including Privilege Cloud, Identity Administration and Secure Infrastructure Access, all designed to apply privilege controls to human and machine identities.
Digital Transformation
“Achieving the Cloud Service Provider security standard from DESC is a key step for public sector customers aiming to select CyberArk to secure their digital assets,” said Eduarda Camacho, chief operating officer at CyberArk. She added that as Dubai advances its digital transformation, the company will provide “the secure, zero-trust- based foundation organizations need to modernize and migrate to the cloud.”
This new certification in Dubai follows another recent security milestone for CyberArk in the public sector. Last week, the company received a “Protected” classification level under Australia’s Infosec Registered Assessors Program. That certification, provided by the Australian Signals Directorate, allows CyberArk to offer its Endpoint Privilege Manager and Workforce Identity SaaS products to Australian public agencies.
