Space launch. Isar Aerospace has signed a launch service agreement with SEOPS.

Isar Aerospace, a satellite launch service company, has partnered with U.S.-based integration and mission services provider SEOPS for a dedicated mission in 2028.

What Is the Isar Aerospace-SEOPS Launch Service Agreement For?

The Munich-based Isar said Tuesday, under the launch service agreement, it will utilize its Spectrum launch vehicle to deploy multiple payloads into low Earth orbit from the company’s launch site at Andøya Space in Norway. The launch serves as the first European deployment within SEOPS’ LaunchLock Prime initiative.

What Did Isar & SEOPS Executives Say About the Partnership?

“The global demand for launch capacity from Europe continues to accelerate as nations and industries recognize the strategic importance of independent access to space. We are proud to welcome SEOPS to our launch manifest. Isar Aerospace is committed to enabling our partners with scalable space capabilities that provide reliable and flexible access to orbit,” said Stella Guillen, chief commercial officer of Isar Aerospace.

“LaunchLock Prime was built to give customers reliable, flexible access to launch capacity tailored to their mission needs. Securing Spectrum capacity with Isar Aerospace, driven by customer demand, demonstrates how we deliver on that promise—giving our customers greater control and choice in how and where their missions reach orbit,” remarked SEOPS Executive Vice President Evan Hoyt.
