CyberArk Completes Australian InfoSec Assessment With ‘Protected’ Classification

Peretz Regev on CyberArk IRAP assessment

Israeli identity security solutions provider CyberArk has obtained a “Protected” classification level after completing an assessment under Australia’s InfoSec Registered Assessors Program.

IRAP, led by the Australian Signals Directorate, helps organizations understand their solutions’ security strengths and weaknesses by providing recommendations for improvement.

“Completing the IRAP assessment assures that CyberArk’s SaaS offerings meet stringent national standards and are well-equipped to protect Australia’s most sensitive assets from identity-centric attacks,” said Peretz Regev, CyberArk chief product and technology officer.

With the certification, CyberArk can now offer its CyberArk Endpoint Privilege Manager and CyberArk Workforce Identity software-as-a-service products to public agencies seeking technology to protect critical assets.

CyberArk asserts that its Identity Security Platform is the most comprehensive identity security platform designed to secure identities from end to end. It provides a wide range of organizations with enhanced access management capability, the ability to protect privileged access across all identities, infrastructures and applications, as well as a solution to analyze, secure and monitor privileged access in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

“As government agencies move to modernize operations and embrace cloud-first strategies, identity security must be a top priority,” Regev added.
