Cubic Partners With ShootHouse, Digimation for Middle East, Singapore Training Solutions

Alica Combs on Cubic Defense simulation training contract win

Cubic Defense has teamed up with simulation firms ShootHouse and Digimation to supply a family of integrated firearms training systems to customers in the Middle East and Singapore.

Under the agreement, Cubic will hold exclusive rights to ShootHouse’s VIPER and Digimation’s DART MAX platforms for those markets and will provide tailored in-country operations and maintenance support. ShootHouse is a British simulation and range solutions developer whose VIPER suite supports laser and live-fire training scenarios. Meanwhile, Florida-based Digimation has over three decades of experience in 3D simulation, providing advanced virtual training solutions for defense, law enforcement and commercial clients.

The partnership will deliver a new suite of training solutions called EST4000, which is offered in three tiers. The EST4000 Standard tier is built on the VIPER software and can include add-ons such as tetherless recoil kits, shootback simulation, live-fire options and weapon-handling data capture.

The EST4000 Live, Virtual and Constructive tier also uses VIPER but incorporates Cubic’s LVC technology for more realistic scenarios. It integrates capabilities such as drones, indirect weapons, electronic warfare, helicopters and closed-circuit television systems. Meanwhile, EST4000 Advanced runs on DART MAX, an advanced marksmanship software from Digimation, and features 4K resolution, artificial intelligence-driven scenarios and Arabic language models.

“This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to equipping global law enforcement and military teams with the most advanced and effective training solutions,” said Alicia Combs, vice president and general manager at Cubic Defense. She added that EST4000 offers a cost-effective way to rehearse life-threatening scenarios safely while improving firearm proficiency and decision-making.

The partnership is the latest among Cubic’s international training contract wins. Last March, the company secured a Foreign Military Sales contract to provide live training systems to an unspecified country in the Indo-Pacific. That deal, which includes Cubic’s soldier and vehicle systems, aims to enhance the partner nation’s readiness and allow it to operate its own combat training center.
