Lockheed Martin Reaffirms Commitment to Poland’s Defense, Industry Growth

Lockheed Martin reiterates its role as a long-term partner to Poland's defense and security.

Lockheed Martin has reiterated its role as a long-term partner of Poland’s defense sector, highlighting investments and industrial partnerships in a recent company announcement.

The company said it has invested $1.8 billion in Poland over the past decade, sustaining more than 6,700 jobs, including 1,500 at its PZL Mielec aircraft facility.

“Lockheed Martin is proud to stand alongside Poland as a trusted partner in national security, delivering critical capabilities to enhance the country’s and NATO’s defense posture,” said Robert Orzylowski, director of Poland and Central and Eastern Europe for Lockheed Martin.

“Through our collaborative efforts with the Polish industrial base, we’re not only strengthening Poland’s industry but also creating a pipeline of highly skilled jobs and unlocking new opportunities for Polish businesses to compete on the global stage.”

According to Lockheed Martin, its PAC-3 Missile Segment Enhancement program, a centerpiece of Poland’s WISŁA air defense modernization effort, continues to drive cooperation with Polish firms, which are now part of the PAC-3 global supply chain.

The company noted its presence in Poland dates back to 1996 and remains central to supporting the country’s defense modernization goals.
