US, Tajikistan Expand Partnership Through $3B Trade & Technology Deals

State Department seal. The U.S. and Tajikistan have expanded their partnership through trade and technology deals.

President Donald Trump and President Emomali Rahmon of the Republic of Tajikistan met on Nov. 6 to strengthen and expand the nations’ cooperation in critical minerals, digital connectivity and aviation modernization, reaffirming their commitment to economic development and regional security.

The U.S. marked over $3 billion in commercial deals with Tajikistan, which are expected to boost exports and create thousands of American jobs, the Department of State said Friday. These agreements reflect both countries’ commitment to regional stability and security, with ongoing efforts to counter terrorism, violent radicalization and transnational crime.

What Deals Have the U.S. & Tajikistan Signed?

The agreements include Tajikistan’s purchase of Boeing aircraft and aviation support systems, valued at $3.2 billion, which is expected to generate 11,480 U.S. jobs. Transparent Earth will provide $32.5 million in technical assistance and remote sensing capabilities to support Tajikistan’s mining and agriculture sectors, while partnerships with Starlink aim to advance the country’s digital modernization efforts.

Tajikistan also collaborated with Perplexity AI, Zypl AI, SuperMicro and Cerebris to develop artificial intelligence tools and infrastructure, including the first-ever agent-based AI browser for government use and AI infrastructure for AI Data Centers powered by Tajikistan’s commitment of 1 gigawatt of hydropower. Additionally, Coca-Cola plans a $9 million investment to expand operations at its Dushanbe facility, reinforcing the presence of U.S. products in Tajikistan.
