Serco announced on LinkedIn Sunday that it has been awarded the Navy Synthetic Warfare Training contract to continue its support for maritime warfare training operations at Australia’s Naval warfare training establishments.
What Is the Scope of Serco’s Navy Synthetic Warfare Training Contract?
Under the renewed and expanded agreement, Serco will continue to work with the Royal Australian Navy, providing advanced, technology-driven training services at HMAS Watson in Sydney and HMAS Stirling in Western Australia. The company will integrate simulation technologies and synthetic warfare environments, including immersive navigation and warfare simulations, artificial intelligence-powered scenario planning and real-time, software-enabled training systems, into its training services. The effort is designed to prepare officers and sailors for modern operational environments, helping ensure the Navy’s operational readiness.
Who Are Serco’s Strategic Partners?
Serco has partnered with CAE Defence & Security–Indo-Pacific, Sayres Australia and JMC for the effort. The company will incorporate CAE’s synthetic warfare simulation technology, Sayres Australia’s training delivery and operational capability uplift, and JMC’s tailored technology capabilities and small and medium enterprise-led enhancements aligned with Royal Australian Navy requirements.
