Abu Dhabi-based EDGE Group has promoted Filip Kostomlatsky to vice president of innovation at the technology and defense company.
Kostomlatsky, who shared the news in a LinkedIn post, previously served as director of product development and senior program manager at EDGE, playing a key role in shaping the company’s electronic warfare cluster. According to his LinkedIn profile, he led initiatives focused on radars, counter-unmanned aircraft systems, directed energy systems and electronic warfare capabilities.
Before joining EDGE, Kostomlatsky managed counter-UAS, intelligence and EW programs at DarkMatter. He also served as product manager for Hensoldt’s Counter Battery Radar portfolio and led projects at Airbus Defence and Space, supporting simulation and training platforms for clients in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and major defense contractors such as Thales and Lockheed Martin.
