Vantor Taps Former Google Exec Elie Tabchouri to Scale Global Government Business

Elie Tabchouri. Vantor has appointed the former Google executive as EVP & GM of its international government business.

Vantor has appointed former Google executive Elie Tabchouri as executive vice president and general manager of its international government business, signaling a push to expand sovereign geospatial intelligence offerings across allied markets.

Tabchouri will lead growth efforts outside the U.S., focusing on Europe, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific and Latin America, Vantor said Wednesday.

Why Is Vantor Expanding Its International Government Business?

The appointment comes as demand rises for sovereign intelligence capabilities that enable governments to collect, process and deploy geospatial data within their own secure environments.

Rather than relying on standalone imagery or analytics tools, customers are seeking integrated systems that combine multi-domain sensor data, artificial intelligence and operational workflows into mission-ready platforms.

Vantor’s Tensorglobe platform is designed to meet that demand by integrating data from space, air and ground sensors into a continuously updated spatial model that supports applications ranging from persistent monitoring to real-time operational decision-making.

The company said it already supports more than 60 government customers globally and saw double-digit growth in its international business, reflecting accelerating adoption of these capabilities.

What Experience Does Elie Tabchouri Bring?

Tabchouri brings more than a decade of experience at Google, where he focused on building sovereign cloud and AI capabilities for government customers.

Most recently, he led Google’s distributed cloud business across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, working with defense and public sector organizations to deploy AI-powered systems in on-premise and secure environments. Earlier roles involved launching and scaling Google’s public sector cloud business across dozens of countries and leading regional engagements with government and telecom customers.

Prior to Google, he worked at The Boston Consulting Group, advising public sector and regulated industry clients on digital transformation and strategy.

In a LinkedIn post, Tabchouri said his work at Google centered on helping organizations extract value from “AI-driven ecosystems and high-complexity data environments,” an experience he said translates directly to geospatial intelligence.

How Does the Appointment Fit Into Vantor’s Broader Strategy?

Vantor has been expanding its capabilities through platform development, partnerships and government contracts. Recent efforts include integrating Google Earth AI models into its Tensorglobe platform for use in classified environments and supporting mission applications such as infrastructure monitoring and change detection.

Vantor has also continued to grow its defense footprint, including securing a National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency contract for AI-driven change detection and a potential $217 million award supporting the U.S. Army’s One World Terrain program.
